What is Remix Rumble?

What is Remix Rumble?

The Remix Rumble Tournament is a music tourney inspired by SiIvagunner's King for a Day and King for Another Day tournaments. Mashups and arrangements can be found on our Soundcloud and Youtube pages.
-
It consists of 16 contestants who compete in a double elimination bracket based on public voting. Each round, mashups and arrangements will be posted for each contestant based on their sources. Voting will then be held each round to decide who should continue to the next. Once a contestant loses twice, they are eliminated. (Bracket will become single elimination once only four contestants are left)

The winner will receive a prize based on their sources and character.

#03 - Kasumi Toyama

Since she was very young, Kasumi Toyama has always been searching for the "Star Beat", a sparkling and exciting sound she heard while looking up at the night sky. In her journey to find this feeling once more, Kasumi joins Remix Rumble representing music from rhythm games as well as idol music, J-Pop and star-related sources. Even without the rest of Poppin'Party, Kasumi aims to shoot for the stars!

Story #1 - The Beginning

Statia had found what they had been wanting since forever. A space to themself, through which they could share music with the entire world. They had discovered a mysterious dimension that takes on an appearance based on those who enter - for now, blank. A sort of endless triangle-patterned void, but Statia could feel a presence. They could feel the connection this place had with all those willing to listen to the music created within it, and they knew what it was they wanted to do with it. With this Radio Realm.Inspired by others who they had known to have done similar, Statia decided they would host a tournament. Sixteen contestants will be summoned with the help of their enthusiastic assistant Reru, and once gathered each one will compete with their music for a grand prize of their choosing!Reru: Do your best, everyone!!The Remix Rumble Tournament will begin soon.

Story #2 - First Meetings

Reru had been friends with Statia ever since she had first found their music online. The pair would follow and admire other tourneys, and while each of them had their own tastes, they both shared a passion for music. So when Statia finally proposed they host a tourney of their own, Reru was thrilled to be able to assist in its creation.
